This piece came out of a collaboration between TrekkSoft and GetYourGuide, where I wrote a strategic article exploring how tourism operators could grow their business through ecosystem partnerships and digital distribution channels.

Most operators in travel understand that listing on OTAs drives bookings, but they rarely think about it strategically. They see platforms as a necessary cost, not as growth infrastructure. The article tried to shift that framing,  from "here are partnership options" to "here's how connected ecosystems actually help you scale."

The challenge in writing it was making ecosystem and integration thinking feel commercially relevant, not technical. So instead of leading with platform mechanics, I focused the narrative on business outcomes: more visibility, more bookings, less operational friction.
